Creative Directed & Photographed by me, the story plays on the hidden rhetoric — “Toute La Terre n’est pas une gare” / “The Whole Earth is not a station” —
extracted from André Breton’s poems, made up as collages from press clippings, revealed in the original manuscript of the “Manifesto of Surrealism”.
Real life composed scenes, juxtaposing Roberto Bravo’s fine Jewelry in settings and amongst symbolic figures stumbled upon in the public spaces of Paris; are directed in a stylistic parallel to that of Breton’s collages.
The story leaves the dream like scenes open to interpretation, defining the experience as “a stroll blessed by chance” / “une balade bénie par le hasard”
